  1. In the midst of the Bombings, the Atomic Flash, and the Debris kicked up by the Shockwave, Montag begins to call out to Clarisse, Faber, and Mildred, significant members of his adventure throughout the story. Even though the Book ends with Montag returning to the city, his Adventure itself is not yet over. He will have to learn to survive without Mildred, in the ruins of the city. A cliffhanger that hopefully will never be resolved.

  2. In the end basically a bomb wipes out the whole city and montag just watches as a whole city disappears within a blink of an eye.montag and the other professors will start a new generation of kids and bury the war and pretend it never happened. I think it ended abruptly and left me wanting to read more.

  13. After seeing the city being destroyed, Montag decides to move forward after seeing Mildred's death. He wants to keep going with the group that he has and probably find more people like them who want to have a life of meaning instead of what life that Montag has.

  21. In the end of Fahrenheit 451 in a matter of seconds everything vanished. Everything was destroyed due to the bomb that was dropped in the city. Montag knew it was the time to build a better place without any hatred and live a peaceful life. It was the time to change for Montag to reconstruct his life and forget about the dark past.

  22. So at the end of the story, Montag and some professors watch as how the city gets bombed. And since montag was watching he started to remember many things ( where he meet mildred & phrase of the Bible )due to the
shock of the bomb. After that granger mentions a story about his dad and Phoenix, saying that they'll be like the Phoenix just that they'll know where they went wrong and start a 'new society'.

  23. Montag leaves the city before they bomb Otto ashes. He goes into woods or something like that he eats bacon, talks bout the Phoenix and then walks to a place where they can have a new beginning... I think

  24. In the ending of Fahrenheit 451 the city gets bombed and destroyed. Right before the bomb hit he said that all the time history was left in 3 seconds right before the bomb was going to hit. Montag remembers the past of him and Mildred. Then montag talks about the Phoenix being related to humans. Lastly he goes back to the city and says that his journey is not over.

  25. Honestly atheism ending of the book lost me...i got so confuse on what was happening. I don't know how montag became a leader at the end of the book.

  26. Montag from a far watched the city be bomb. Wipe the whole city and start over again as before. Its as if it were usual, something got out of hands and just blow it up. There Montag remember the time he met Mildred, in Chicago. Montag tries to call out for Mildred to show the readers he in a way has feeling and understands. Not like the Montag in the beginning.

  27. The men go onward to start a new beginning in life, to start a new generation.

  28. A new beginning in a " new city " , not really a " new city " .

  29. First of all it ended in a whole different way I thought it would. But the ending was great. He went from being like everyone to being one of those few people who think for themselves and those great thinkers go on and will start something new.
